The Best Street Style From Copenhagen Fashion Week

Copenhagen Fashion Week has carved a niche of its own on the sartorial map. Home to a number of internationally renowned and sought-after brands – see By Malene Birger, Ganni, Saks Potts and Stine Goya – it also serves up some of the best street-style inspiration around.

The prevailing mood on the street at the spring/summer 2019 shows? It’s sunnier than ever – and not just because of the sweltering weather. Off the catwalk, the trusty Scandi It girls, influencers and models are keeping cool in pretty, printed dresses, plaid pieces and on-point accessories. Note the importance (and practicality) of sunnies. Small, angular and cat-eye styles, like those by Adam Selman x Le Specs and Andy Wolf, are overriding favourites. And in true Scandi style, cycle-friendly ensembles abound too. With only weeks to go until New York Fashion Week kicks off, Vogue’s roving street-style photographer Soren Jepsen takes to the Danish capital to capture all the sartorial inspiration you need.
